EVENING BOAT TRIP WITH PASTY

5.00pm to 8.00pm
Due to a high flood tide on this date, we aim to explore some of the smaller creeks upstream as well as cruising out towards St Mawes.
We will be on Look Ahead II which used to operate from St Mawes until the 1990’s when she was sold and went to Plymouth.
She has recently worked the River Avon in the Midlands where she was known as the Avon Belle.
Rhos Newman from Tolverne brought her back to the Fal this year and renovated her, reinstating her original name. Being a single engine boat she uses less diesel and is greener and more economical and as Rhos says “ because she’s that bit smaller, she can reach parts of the river that other boats can’t reach.”
This event has always been popular in the past so if you would like to join us, Wildlife Trust member or not, please call to book as soon as possible as numbers are strictly limited.
The cost for the trip is £8.50 including a pasty of your choice (Meat, Vegetable or Cheese and Onion).
